About Baseball

The objectives of the program are to 1) Teach and emphasize principles of good sportsmanship, fair play and teamwork, 2) Introduce the boys to the game of baseball and teach the fundamental techniques of play - fielding, batting, throwing and pitching, and 3) Most of all to Have FUN!

We participate in two leagues: Coach Pitch District 4 for 1st grade teams and Knothole of Greater Cincinnati "District 4" for 2nd grade thru 9th grade teams. 

Coach Pitch league is designed for beginning baseball players. The league includes teams from Terrace Park, Miamiville, Fairfax and St. Margaret QAMS. 

Knothole consists of teams from Deer Park, Madeira, Terrace Park, Fairfax, Indian Hill, Miamiville, Norwood, Jewish Community Center, Hyde Park and others...

Practices are held at the Mariemont Bell Tower and Dale Park fields. There are normally two practices/week, starting middle of March.

Games begin the 2nd or 3rd week of April.
